We asked the SAW community for their help. To help secure a permanent home for our not for profit, community organisation.
And they did just that..
We have been overwhelmed with the level of support from our fantastic SAW Cymru members. Our community really has pulled together and along with the friends of SAW to raise a phenomenal amount in a very short period.
We knew reaching Ten Thousand Pounds would be an exceptionally difficult task.
So we are delighted to announce that the SAW community has raised a staggering £13,000 and we are very grateful for your generous support.
We now have an excellent level of match funding, backed up with an abundance of positive support and beneficial feedback to support the funding applications currently being drafted, with some already submitted.
Without this incredible support from our community, SAW would no longer exist come September 2022 when the lease on our temporary facility comes to an end.
The opportunities to grow our community within ‘The Pembrokeshire Sports Village’ is staggering. The new facility in the heart of Pembrokeshire is for the community and will be no doubt be the flagship sports facility in the County and on par with the best facilities in Wales.
Huge thanks to our members and friends. And a big well done to our Funding and Networking Officer Mark Bond for creating an exceptionally successful campaign.
Diolch yn fawr iawn
