In August 2022, members from SAW represented Team Wales at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Faye Pittman competed in the 71kg category at her second Games. Faye secured an 81kg snatch and hit 108kg Clean and Jerk. This gave Faye a total of 189kg, finishing in ninth place.
Also from SAW, Simon Roach, Team Manager and coach, representing Wales in his 6th Commonwealth Games.
Also from Pembrokeshire Ashleigh Barnikel, with a strong performance in Judo.
