Pembrokeshire Weightlifting will be hosting a National Qualifier Weightlifting competition.
Many local athletes from Pembrokeshire and from throughout South Wales and further afield will compete. Some athletes will be new to the sport and this event will be their first competition, other athletes will be aiming to qualify for British Championships and a few athletes will be aiming to achieve qualification for Welsh and British internationals. There will be an extremely diverse group of competitors ranging from beginners to elite and from under 13’s to over 40’s.
The competition begins at 9am on Saturday 2nd February at Sir Thomas Picton Sports Centre. Light refreshments will be available to purchase, all proceeds will support Pembrokeshire Weightlifting club.
Pembrokeshire volunteers will be organising and hosting the event and will be supported by other volunteers from clubs throughout South Wales.
